Here we are a year later. A year out from the ultra sound that completely changed the course of our lives. Celebrating daddy's birthday, creating our traditions as a family of six. Maybe we only spent 15 minutes picking apples and posing for pics so we could hurry to the Lynd's store for fry pies (they were out:( and pumpkin rolls. Sure the kids didn't cooperate and Damon's totally over having his picture taken. This is us. Happy, healthy, loving and making memories. Welcome to the family Wyatt and Grayson, you complete us!!

28 Weeks w The Twins
Holy Crap. I'm 7 months pregnant with twins and we finally had our first snow. Wait.... annnnd I've already gained 30 lbs. STOP!!! LOL I'm finally entering the third trimester and it still seems so surreal to say out loud. Identical twin boys. CRAAAAZY.
But I love it and I'm embracing every moment (except the 1st trimester, which can suck it.) I'm buying all the baby hats and wearing leggings & giant tunics everyday. Thank goodness for this adorable pink hat or I'd feel hideous. My biggest craving has been Honey Crisp apples. I literally ate three giant ones yesterday. I also had a girl yell across the hallway of a nursing home, "you look like you're ready to explode." Seriously, she said that to a total stranger!" I probably shouldn't have been so grumpy since its totally true. These Pink Blush maternity leggings are lined w fleece and totally AMAZING!!! I scored these boots on clearance at Target last week for $30. After holiday clearance is my HEAVEN.

The Blowout Bar, Try IT!!!!
This week has been brutal. Work has been crummy, its been raining for three weeks & Wes has turned into a devil child. The bright side? I got to visit The Blowout Bar for the first time!!!! Friend them on FB & IG!! When they are training new stylists they may offer a limited number of free blowouts! I was lucky enough to nab one! In keeping with my crummy week I was 15 minutes late for my 30 min appointment. Instead of guilting me, my sweet stylist Jess whipped up this adorable fishtail braid for me. Even though this outfit is super casual, I felt cute & put together w my special hair do! Thank you, Thank you to The Blowout Bar for being a ray of sunshine to an otherwise gray week! I can't wait to come back for a Flirtini!!

Cross Your Fingers
We've officially been in our new house over a month. To us that means still living out of a few boxes, no furniture in several rooms and for Damon getting poison ivy from all the new found yard work. It also means strawberry margaritas on our new deck, endless hours of swinging and splashing in the backyard water table. We LOVE it! The big ole cherry on top? We are in contract with the very first person who looked at the condo!! Please please cross your fingers. She is in contract on her own home, so everything has to go smoothly for her sale AND the for ours!!!!!!

I grabbed this long, flowy dress at the end of fall for only $12. I knew I would bust it as soon as the weather turned nice. This is such a perfect dress, momfit if you will! You can wrangle the littles at a cookout, swing at the park. Whatevs! Grab your hat so your not squinting and your mom bag that's not technically a diaper bag, buuuut everyone knows by the little ducklings trailing behind you that there are a few diapers in there!! If you really want to glam it up do a bright lip!! I was complaining to a make up artist at Sephora that some of my bright lipsticks run when its humid & I get all sticky. She recommended using a clear lip liner. You guys!! I only line the very bottom of my lower lip and it TOTALLY keeps it from running!! Best makeup tip EVER!!!!

Backpacking Like Blossom
As a mama, I can't tell you how excited I am about the backpack trend!!! I totally missed the boat in the 90's:( I'm not really sure how, considering my 90's style gurus Clarissa & Blosssom, both had AHHH-Mazing backpack collections. You know, just making up for lost backpacking time. Perfect for my camera, diapers, lipstick... All the essentials.
I found this pair of Paige denim at the Goodwill on High St. in Clintonville. I wish they were a little more belled at the bottom but the best part is they were professionally hemmed. Perfect for a shorty like me!!!!! Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend<3 .="">3>

Romper Heaven
Please excuse my PALE white legs. Sadly my days of tanning are long over. On the other hand my romper wearing days may have just started, unless you count the sailor outfit I wore for my 7th birthday!!! I scored this beauty on clearance a few weeks ago & couldn't wait to bust it out. I actually found another romper at the thrift store today. I thought it was a shirt, which doesn't bode well for covering much skin. I totally bought it anyway. It's vintage + couldn't resist!! Maybe I'll wear it as a swimsuit, but never get in the water. Perfect!
I'm heading to Detroit for work tomorrow & haven't even started getting anything together. It's already way past my bed time...Night Night..xoxo

The Cherry On Top
Certain dresses aren't cut to flatter every body shape. Sometimes they're too young others show too much skin. Whatever the reason, don't give up if you LOVE the skirt!!! I found this dress at the thrift store for $3. Totally not right on top, totally awesome on the bottom. Now comes my favorite trick. A shirt over the unflattering top & let the adorable skirt shine!!! Bring on the warm weather & bare legs!!!! Yahhhhhhhhhhhhhoooooo! P.S I'm obsessed with my new Urban Decay Naked concealer. And Prada Candy? Heaven.
