Poor Strawberry Shortcake

While on maternity leave I found myself feeding a hungry baby for hours, at all hours. This leaves you stuck not able to move around for hours, at all hours. Suddenly having something to watch becomes seriously important if for nothing but to keep you awake so you don't drop the baby!.  

With Mia I watched the entire Prison Break series!!  Just searching the images on Google makes me want to watch Season 1 & 2 (seasons 3-4 meh).  With Wesley I discovered Criminal Minds & I am totally addicted!!!  I'm even plotting how I can become Baby Girl of the day on Shemar's FB page. hahahahaha

I usually watch w the subtitles on & the volume turned super low.  Based on this pic Mia colored  i may need to start watching the Brady Bunch re-runs instead.. LOL

Watch, Listen, Yum

With all of our shows on winter break we've been streaming Homeland. We are just starting the 2nd season & officially hooked. I also caught up on the last few seasons of Dexter, which was delightful in a twisted serial killer kind of way!!!

A few days ago I was driving, listening to my XM & switched on the Margaritville channel. Strangely Dave Matthews Band Satellite was on. I think it was a tribute to Dave's birthday!!! I had forgotten how much I love the sound of DMB & what a great album this is!!!!! Thanks Jimmy Buffet for reminding me!!

Mia & i shared a bag of Trader Joe's Butternut Squash Risottto & WE WANT MORE!!!  I think a trip to TJs might be in order this weekend.

Emily vs. Howard

It's another His & Hers TV nite!!! Damon is a HUGE Howard Stern fan. I hear multiple times a week "Howard is not what everyone thinks he is!" So as soon as it was announced he was going to be a judge on America's Got Talent, my hubby was setting the DVR to watch a show he's never watched before. On the flipside, I have wasted many, many hours on the Bachelor/Bachlorette franchise. I follow Trista on Twitter for goodness sake...lol Ben's & Ashley's season kind of bored me so I am hoping Emily's season holds my attention past the 1st couple shows..

New Obsession

We are only on Episode 4 Season 1, but we are LOVING Being Human. Thank you streaming NetFlix for having it & the original British version:)

Driving home tonite listening to The Coffee House, (love) I heard Chris Isaak Wicked Game (amazing). Anytime I hear it I always think of the Friends Episode "You were worth the wait & I don't just mean tonite."

FINALLY giving this a try!

Had a great weekend. North Star for Breakfast with D, parents & Bryan. Damon is OBSESSED with the Ricotta pancakes. I need to find a good recipe to make at home. Them my mom came over and oohed and ahhhed at my baby clothes collection & helped me fix up our new duvet. Today Brandi, Esther & I worked on baby shower decorations. FUN, BUSY times. Love It!!!!

Paris vs. NYC

Have you seen THESE?? I love them! This is another fun play on Paris vs. New York City. Brandi & i went with my mom (who was born in Paris) to see Amelie when it first came to the theaters. i need to watch again!!

I can't believe I just watched my first few episodes of The Rachel Zoe Project. So Addictive, she is now a permanent fixture on my DVR. Fashion Stylist to the stars I love watching Rachel travel from Milan to NYC back to LA, while hanging out with Kate Hudson & Demi Moore.

This weekend I saw the new Ben Affleck movie , The Town. In my professional movie opinion it is a cross between Point Break and Shawshank Redemption. I know Shawshank may seem weird but trust me as a person who used to watch Shawshank on repeat (weird, I know) The Town SPOILER ALERT: has some very Shawshank moment esp. the last thirty minutes! It is def worth checking out.
