a Mimi is born

When we were searching for baby names there were lots that we liked but vetoed bc we didn't love some of the nicknames that might be attached. I liked Brooklyn but don't love Brook.  So we chose a name i was certain could not be shortened or hacked up. Well apparently little Miss Independent has her own ideas.
