Here's to Five

Yesterday was our 5th Wedding Anniversary. We treated ourselves to a new fridge since ours died a miserable death earlier in the week!!!  My real gift?? A family photo shoot. Thanks to my best friend for this beautiful life!!!!  It's a wild chaos covered in milk & salty baby tears. Oh so sweet. Some of our wedding pics here.

Hocking Hills Anniversary Trip

Can we say ANNUAL TRIP? Whose in? It was quick, as the babies were with their Nana, Gma & Gpa, but oh so PERFECT. We had just the right amount of fires, monopoly (I WON!!), Chucky & Redds Apple Ale. The boys drank Kraken. You can ask Damon about that one. We had way too much food and some chilly weather which limited our hiking. We did make it to Old Man's Cave, the Lower Falls area.  We came back from hiking, ate our weight in potato soup, spaghetti w meatballs & then soaked in the hot tub. Fat & relaxed!!!

We loved the Old Man's Cave Chalets. The only downside is not all the cabins have outdoor fire permits. If s'mores are super important make sure you clarify when reserving your cabin. We stayed in the Cross Creek Cabin, which had an awesome indoor wood burning fireplace that we kept roaring all weekend. Buy wood down there locally, it's cheaper than say, Giant Eagle here.

Four Years of Love : A Wedding Pictage

Happy Fourth Anniversary my love!! Today, you showed off one of your most lovable traits.  You came home with a bag of pumpkin carving tools, Halloween toys and candles. You taped newspaper to the floor and showed Mia how to scoop the pumpkins. Then you asked her, "What kind of mouth should we make." She whispered in her scariest voice, a spooky one.  That's what she got a spooky face for her pumpkin.  I love your sentimental streak . It runs deep and it's sweet to see a glimpse of the younger you when you share it with our babies!! To us, you are the best thing!!!!!!

3 Years

Happy Anniversary my love.  This has been a crazy year but you have  proven over & over that you're this family's rock. We count on your for EVERYTHING, & you never disappoint. In a few short months we will be a family of four. I could never ask for anything better. 

Leapversary

Damon & I met Leap Year 2008. Four  years have flown by in the blink of an eye. Now we are a cute little family!!!!  To 100 more Leap Years:) I love you!!!!

I love that you read emails I sent you 3 years ago.  I love that you keep asking to ink Mia's foot prints.  i love how we make each other laugh. I love how you send me pictures of the baby when she was a tiny newborn.  I love how sentimental you are. I love that you embrace my home decor ideas & spend hours making them perfect. I love how you love that you converted me to eating tomato soup & watching TV w/ the close captioning on.  That's not all you've changed. You changed my life and made it better.  I love you more EVERY Single day!!!  Thank you for North Star Breakfast this morning & pumpkin donuts last nite:)
