Holy Fourth, I'm Tired

The holidays with kids & babies just keep getting better & better. It pushes us (even if we are beyond exhausted) to make the memories, because we want them to experience the magic. It helps us see the magic in the simple things. Sparklers, s'mores, friends, Gmas & Gpas,  parades fireflies & first slides were all completely magical this Fourth of July. Oh, and the nap I took after three glasses of wine at my mom's. That was magical too.

Christmas Morning

At 9pm on Christmas Eve Damon went to put the train table I ordered from Amazon together for the kids BIG gift. He discovered I'd gotten one that was unfinished. It needed painted/stained before being built. Well, you can prob guess that didn't happen.  We still had a magical morning, even though my Christmas jammies were too small. HAHA #pregnantladyproblems The kids slept until 7am which is technically sleeping in for them. We held them off until 8am w only minimal whining, mostly from my husband about me wanting to brush my hair! This first pic is them waiting to come down. Luckily Santa is the man and brought plenty of gifts the kids were crazy for. A Batman robot, Buzz Lightyear, a doll with beauty chair & hair salon accessories, nail polish & tons of art supplies. Wes loved wearing the Santa hat and walked around ho ho hoing. Every year it's the perfect morning and it goes too fast! My favorite part of these pics are the D & L ornaments Damon snuck on the tree a few days ago. Merry Christmas to the loves of my life, all almost 5 of you.

Happy 2nd Birthday Wesley David

My Sweetest Boy,
From the moment you were born you've been a constant joy. Your  loving nature brightens our days. Hugs, snuggles, & lots of I Luh Yous!!! You are counting to ten & singing the ABCs. You want to do everything your big sister does. Including throwing tantrums, eating dried mangoes & lots of coloring.
You constantly make us laugh, toddling around singing Let It Go or demanding to push your mini vacuum around. You weigh 25 lbs wear 24 months/2t & a size 7 shoe. You say please, thank you & sorry after you've slapped someone in the face or bitten your sister!!!! You had a blast celebrating your birthday. You finally got to watch Planes Fire & Rescue with your beloved Dusty Crophopper. We had balloons & dinner with Grandma & Grandpa. It was perfect.
I loved watching you love the day.
