Santa came to our house this morning because our police officer has to work tomorrow. Christmas Eve started off a little rocky when Damon sent me a text at 4pm saying Mia had just thrown up. On our bed. All over my Crate & Barrel quilt. Damn. Luckily she laid on the couch watching Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas the rest of the evening & woke up totally normal. She looked over the banister & the first thing she said, "Mom, Santa brought me the Barbie house I asked for!!!' Then, "He brought Wes a choo choo." Mama heart exploding. My parents came over for brunch & we ate quiche from our fav, Sassafras Bakery. Sweet potato & goat cheese. OMG!!!!! Sassafras has become a family tradition of sorts since she did our wedding desserts. Santa was in heaven with his Sassafras iced sugar cookies. Now I'm a little sad the day is over. It seems November & December flashed by. Guess this means I'll just have to start shopping for next year, NOW!!!!! Looking so forward to the next few days celebrating more with family and friends. It truly is magical to create these amazing traditions and memories. It's what I live for. Luckily my husband feels the same. It makes me love him even more. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
My Wesley David, I love seeing you in these photos, all eyelashes & chubby fingers full of trains. When you toddle around swinging your little arm it makes me want to have babies forever.
Please excuse my waaaaayy over edited pics, I turned my ISO up too high:(
