I forgot to include this on the SBL, but soooo glad we made it out there. The only hours the museum offers are Sundays 12-4pm. Admission includes an actual ride in the maroon 1937 Canadian passenger car, pulled by a diesel-electric engine ...Only 15 minutes but so cool. Mia loved having her ticket punched by the conductor. When I heard museum I pictured us being inside, maybe seeing old model trains, pictures and a few old displayed parts. It's actually more like an old graveyard for train buffs. Rusted out parts are scattered everywhere. The train cars are scarred from years of abandonment. So freaking cool!!! I brought my good camera which I diligently put a fresh memory card in, only to turn it on & get the dead battery message. Awesome! Thank goodness for the iphone.
