Carrie & Phil came from Dayton to celebrate with us! We made it to the New Albany 4th festival after stuffing ourselves with burgers & beans at home. We spent the evening chasing Mia around the square letting her run off a sugar high. It wouldn't be the fourth without an overly iced cookie cake right? The kids are on a strict bedtime routine, probably the only thing I'm super strict on, so we didn't stay for the fireworks. We lit a few sparklers on the back patio before bed. The fireworks booming woke Mia, so I held her & we watched the sky light up from her bedroom window.
