Winter Blues

The below zero temps are really squashing any desire this mama might have to do fun activities with the kids!!!!  Even our go to trips to the library leave us w icicles on our noses:(  So we hibernate. Mia has an obsession with painting volcanoes. Wesley's obsessed with being cute & drooling.  I think we're bored.  One day as we headed to Nana's I tried to hand her a Hello Kitty hat. She said, No I'll wear this. This being Wesley's R2-D2 etsy beanie. 

 Damon & I had planned a quick trip to Detroit for the auto show but once again the weather derailed us. We still sent the babies to Grandma & Grandpa's house. We went to Tutto Vino for a wine tasting & then had a delicious dinner at Mat the Miller. Ahi tuna flat bread & the best smothered chips in the city!!!! Tony & I are desperately trying to turn Damon into a wine guy.  I think this 20 for $20 tasting was the 1st step. Sonoma here we come (I wish)!

We made a Barnes & Noble stop just so we could say we left the house. Damon found these decorate your own foam planes. They (Mia & Dad) had a ball applying the decals & flying them around. Wesley & I practiced crawling & watched E News!! Spring if you're listening, PLEASE COME OUT & PLAY!!!
