This month you lost the title of Best Baby Ever & became Worlds Worst Sleeper. Stupid 4 month sleep regression, i want to punch you in the face!! You go to bed around 7pm and sleep until midnight. Then its a crap shoot. You might be up once or 6 times. Last weekend you literally were up all nite Thursday, Friday & Saturday. I thought I might die!! Somehow, despite lack of sleep you manage to maintain (mostly) a sunny disposition.
Not only are you not sleeping well at night, daytime naps are pretty much none existent. We try and lay you down 3-4xs day. The average time you rest is about 30 min. We've tried everything, swaddling both arms, one arm, no arms. Binkies, noise machines, blankets, no blankets etc.The biggest change this month has been the introduction of formula. We are just supplementing but I really wanted to go organic, so we chose Baby's Only dairy. We started on a Tuesday morning & you seemed fine. Then the 3 nites of virtually NO SLEEP & a rocky day of babysitting for Gma & Gpa led us to believe maybe we should try a sensitive formula. SO far Similac sensitive seems to be working. At least you are back to doing the one 5 hour sleep stretch.
You are very drooly and constantly chewing on your hands or anything else you can find.
You have become very aware of your sister. You absolutely LOVE her. You follow her every move smiling & laughing when she talks to you. Sometimes if you are laying next to her & she's entranced in a show you try & get her attention by rolling on your side, cooing at her.
Still wearing size 2 diapers. We are about to get back into cloth after a long hiatus. My favorite cloth diaper store stopped carrying our Rockin Green detergent. After learning you can use Original Tide Powder we are ready to start again. wearing 6 month clothes. Drinking 3-6 ozs per bottle feeding.
