You started trying to repeat lots of words. You can say duck, dada & book.
You babble, yell and sing. You try & say dog, bird, cow, & moo. Apparently i need to get you some non animal books!!!
Every once in a while you slow down from your whirlwind of activity & for the briefest of moments lay your sweet little head on my shoulder. It's heavenly.
Then at about 9.5 months you had a melt down that lasted 2 weeks. The FUSSIEST you have been since we conquered the colicky baby times. You cried & fussed constantly. Everything became a battle. Eating, sleeping, changing, dressing, car rides. You were not having it. On February 2nd you weighed 17lbs. On February 16 I took you to Dr. to see if you had an ear infection that may be the culprit of the fussies & you had lost 1.5 lbs, (no ear infection). It scares me a little. Hoping it is just those 2 pesky bottom teeth ALMOST popping through .
Technically you still have no teeth.lol
You are SOOOOO close to crawling. Just this past week you learned to throw your leg up & scootch forward!!!
During your crazy fussy time you started swatting at your food. We would all end up in a gooey miserable mess. So we started more of the baby lead weaning & it has gone great!! You love to feed yourself peas, corn, chunks of pancake, turkey, squash, quinoa etc. While your distracted w double fisting whatever is in front of you I spoon mouthfuls of yogurt or cereal in!!!
