35 Weeks

We had a maternity shoot Friday with Sarah Gee Photography at Blendon Woods. This is a little sneak peek she did for us. Can't wait to see more. I still feel amazing. Very energetic, not too uncomfortable. I love being pregnant. I often find myself saying "When the next baby comes..." Still trying to control my blood sugar strictly thru diet. Breyers Carb Smart chocolate ice cream has been a life saver! Damon loves to put his hands on my belly and ask "Where's my baby?" She usually rolls and kicks when he talks to her. Although I think space might be getting tight as her little head seems to be bouncing on my bladder like a trampoline. She has had the hiccups pretty much everyday since about 30 weeks. Excited for my docters appointment this week just to see what she says. It's surreal to think she could come any day now. My bags are officially packed!

31st Weekend

I've had a wonderful birthday weekend. Damon surprised me with the Uggz I've wanted FOREVER!! We had an awesome maternity photo shoot with our new friend Sarah Gee. Can't wait to see the pics. Spent a lot of time nesting, getting ready for my sweetie (5 weeks to go!!) Hung her adorable curtains (made by my friend Meg w/ more Amy Butler Soul Blossoms fabric). Sara & Sabour treated me to a yummy Melting Pot dinner complete with a white chocolate creme brulee fondue. OH MY!! We ran a few errands and D said i belong on http://peopleofwalmartwebsite.com/ b/c i wore his DC Comic PJ pants. I tried to explan when your belly is this big it's all about comfort. HAHA!! Tonite is dinner with my parents at Mia Cucina.

Her Name

Damon kept a running list on his iPad of our favorite baby girl names. We are set on Mia as the first name but still unsure for her middle. Damon keeps trying to come up with her middle name but so far I am boycotting Mia Apollonia, Ferrari and Chimay. LOL My vote is Isabelle, which is from 2 of our favorite movies Braveheart & Legends of the Fall.

Behind

Between moving and getting ready for baby our Netflix movie consumption has sadly, been way down. Last nite we finally watched The Social Network. My favorite part was the Sean Parker/Napster connection. I had no idea he was involved with Facebook! I remember discovering Napster just a few days before it shut down & staying up all nite using dial up to try and download as many songs as I could!! Not mention I love me some Justin Timberlake....lol
Also didn't know, Kevin Spacey was one of the producers. It has a very similar feel to 21 which is another cool true story we recommend!!

Around Here

1. D & I both love streaming Pandora, although his play list looks quite different from mine!!

2. Shag is ready for nice weather so we can play at the dog park!!!!

3.This is our baby for the child care classes we started taking. Yahoo for swaddling, diaper changing and umbilical care!! Less then two months for the real thing!!

Coconuts

My husband is newly obsessed with Coconut Water. He recently learned it was used to hydrate soldiers in the Pacific during WWII. Coincidentally it started showing up in our fridge a few days later. I love that!!!
