Gleeful Weekend

FINALLY giving this a try!

Had a great weekend. North Star for Breakfast with D, parents & Bryan. Damon is OBSESSED with the Ricotta pancakes. I need to find a good recipe to make at home. Them my mom came over and oohed and ahhhed at my baby clothes collection & helped me fix up our new duvet. Today Brandi, Esther & I worked on baby shower decorations. FUN, BUSY times. Love It!!!!

27.4 weeks

This has been our little girls most exciting week to date. On Sunday she turned 27 weeks. On Monday her momma fell trying to take the dogs out. I was inside but had Damon's pajama pants on. Chasing a dog + pants that are too long+slippery Pergo flooring= Lizbon on the ground. Anytime you fall and hit your belly, it's off to the maternity ward. ALL DAY LONG. Baby and momma are fine. She spent the whole time torturing the nurses while they tried to capture her on the fetal monitor. The minute they would get her heart beat she would roll kick and punch her way across my belly. Poor nurses would have to come in every 10 minutes. They couldn't believe how active she was. Haha. After a RhoGAM shot, something to stop the pesky little contractions we were having and a blood draw we were off.. Best part of the day? Damon got us a cream filled chocolate donut AND Timbits.YUM!!

On a happier, exciting note baby received her FIRST registry gifts, from Damon's sisters. She got the CUTEST Baby Einstein activity gym and the sweetest Koala Kids receiving blankets..

Wreath

I found this BEAUTIFUL wreath on the American Crafts Blog. It was created by Ann-Marie Morris, one of AC's in house designers. I just love the paper flowers along the bottom!! I'm thinking baby shower inspiration for sure!!!! Maybe we will get snowed in tomorrow and I can make one. Highly unlikely but always hopeful:)

Double Trouble.

Her first pair of shoes are the perfect size to hold mommy's Cadbury eggs. These are two of my favorite things!!!!

Date Nite

Last nite was date nite with our friends Tony and Jeff. We did Cheesecake Factory ($50 gift card to spend!!) and then went to the 10pm Funny Bone Show! The headliner, JustonMcKinney was hilarious!! This momma was up til almost 1am. Hard core!!!!

Bedtime

On Christmas Eve I found this crib & matching changing table on clearance at Target. Woot.. Damon and I went to fight for the last clearanced one at ghetto Target. We elbowed everyone out of the way and wrangled it into the back of our truck.YEAH!!! So much fun. After we celebrated with a yummy dinner at Mia Cucina.

The baby's bedding is being custom made by the Etsy shop LilyBaby Creations. The fabrics are from Amy Butler's Soul Blossoms line. The listing includes a bed skirt, bumper fitted sheet, changing pad cover and a cute little pillow! Jaime from LilyBaby has been amazing to work with so far. Super responsive to my emails. Offering fabric suggestions and even finding me a 25% off coupon to use when I ordered from Fabric.com. AMAZING customer service. So excited to see the finished product!!!!

Best Eugoogoolizer Ever!

On New Year's Day my mom and I had a girls day. After pear & gorgonzola pizza at CPK we were looking for some laughs. I think Little Fockers really hit the spot. Of course the critics panned it BUT we laughed and laughed. Nothing beats the first Meet the Parents but it was way better than Meet the Fockers.

It reminded me how much I love Ben Stiller. Maybe a double feature of my fav Stiller movies this weekend?
