Yes, i admit it. Wedding planning has taken over my life..AND I LOVE IT!!! This morning I had my second dress fitting at Wendy's. Then Sunnie & I went to Ikea for some tea light holders, an orange unity candle & some DELICIOUS salmon & mac & cheese. Is it bad that the Ikea cafeteria excites us??

Come to our house and you might see: 1. The hurricane that is THE wedding room 2. shiny new wedding bands, that have never been worn (well not for longer then a few minutes, anyway).

Disclaimer: Please understand that while wedding planning is delightful, it is also very stressful!! Lately, I have been having stress induced wedding nightmares. Usually they involve the guests sitting outside waiting for me to walk down the aisle. Three hours later i am still trying to get ready. The most recent dream involved Brandi saying"OK, Lizbon we have to put your suit on (?!). She proceeds to help me dress in to a black tuxedo complete with blue vest & red bow tie!!!!

Look at this cutie!! My FUTURE husband (one month from tomorrow!) turned 35 today in the throws of a yucky bout of exhaustion a terrible sinus headache. Hopefully he will feel better tomorrow when you will find us on the patio of the Old Bag having yummy drinks & eating some Mrs. Goodman's! We will also be watching D open his new @*#*#&$^$. 35 days to go.OMG I think I still have a lot to do ................eek!! One think I did accomplish was choosing my wedding day perfume!!! The winner is Victoria's Secret Sexy little Things Noir. Too bad this blog is not Scratch & Sniff, I love the squeeze ball dispenser. So romantic!

We went to Bliss Honeymoons for a consultation tonight. Now, Damon just needs to choose between a dude ranch in Montana or the beach in Mexico! As soon as he does our honeymoon registry will be up!!

My newest obsession? Netflix streaming live on our XBox!! OMG it is the greatest. Tons of movies & shows available ANYTIME!! It comes with your netflix subscription automatically if you (or your hubby/lover is) are an XBox live member.

Cued up right now is Desperate Housewives Season 4!! I'm also trying to get D addicted to Lost (Season 1).

Zion: A Pictage

Zion National Park, about 2.5 hours from Vegas. Amazing!! It would be awesome to pack hiking gear and spend a week camping & exploring the breath taking trails especially Angels Landing. The little town of Springdale just outside the park is filled with quaint B&B's, art galleries & shops. The park has remained pristine and is easily accessible by an easy comfortable tram system that makes 7 stops through out Zion.

Vegas Baby

Thanks to our friend Bryan we spent a week at the Wyndham Grand Desert resort (a time share property) for free YAHOO. I was worried that a Monday through Friday in Vegas would be too much but the boys assured me that renting a car would make all the difference. They were so right. We were able to have adventures off the traditional strip.
Here are some tips!

FIND the Hash House for the YUMMIEST breakfast EVER. Damon recommends the Banana Pancakes.

Here are the boys losing money in the slots at the Red Rock Casino. They did kick some butt at Let it Ride. That might be my favorite game!

We took a 30 minute drive to Mount Charleston, well worth the hike even though we didn't see any wild donkeys. At the very top take time for some chips and guac at the Mount Charleston Lodge.

Head to the Golden Gate Casino on Fremont Street for their legendary shrimp cocktail only $1.99. You might also find customizable poker chips and Doggie Tuxes (xs & xl) on Fremont Street. Also check out the Paris dinner buffet. Crab legs, creme brulee & the Eiffel Tower margarita OH MY!!!

Eventually we did make it back to the strip & explored the Mirage, MGM, The Venetian and Treasure Island. We spent several hours enjoying the Gigungus drinks & bartender flair show at Kahunaville inside TI. Several Big Kahunas later we were happy!

I have our next trip all planned. Staying at the Wynn, seeing LOVE and making reservations to visit the Bone Yard.

Lara & I went running at Antrim Park today. I only ran a mile (walked 2) because my new shoes gave me a blister. Still one mile is reason to celebrate!! I chose a Sugar Free Pink Lemonade from Ritas. Only 90 calories. TASTY!!!! Shag & Taco agree! Coach Damon would agree also if he were here. He is out in Lancaster chalking up his 2nd 8th grade football win in Lancaster.
