I spent the morning cleaning for another showing...Eventually I mopped myself out the front door & headed to the library. My current fines are up to $6.80!!!

I spent the afternoon reading this SUPER cute Emily Giffin book!!! Lipstick Jungle is next. I need to give my eyeballs a break from reading, so i'm cuing up some Top Chef Masters. I made some Velveeta Shells & cheese for dinner.

Me: I hope I don't die from eating this macaroni.

D: Why would you die?

Me: It expired in august 2009...

D: Ummmmm???

Smooth Jazz

When Damon goes to work he usually puts Taco in his crate. He leaves the radio on Smooth Jazz so Taco has some company. Last night was a little different.

D: Instead of smooth jazz radio i think i'm going to leave the TV on for Taco.

Me: Oh, how come?

D: I don't think he likes Kenny G.

Well, I sure hope Shag likes Ray Charles, because that is what he has been listening to for the past few weeks.

In exactly 2 months The Time Traveler's Wife comes out. I CANNOT wait. I think i am expecting another The Notebook..Which means I could be setting myself up for a huge disappointment. I mean, did you see the chemistry between McAdams and Gosling. AMAZING!!!

I have the book on reserve at the library. I'm ashamed to say i never read The Notebook. Yeah for August 14th.

thrifty photos

damon & i wanted to have a vintage photobooth at our wedding. Unfortunately the $1000 for the booth that i WANT is TOO much. BOO.

So my alternate idea is to get this Polaroid 600. I am going to get some cute fabric & create a cute little booth with some cute props. Then everyone will write a message on the bottom of the Polaroids& we are going to hang them on a line, later we will put them in a guest book. CUTE!!!!

I watched Benjamin Button last nite. I thought it was so sweet. I am definitely gong to read the book (wish i had read it first!). I am a huge Forrest Gump fan & it was very neat to see the similarities between the two. Forrest is still the winner but Benjamin did not disappoint. The movie also reminds me of the Green Mile, which you MUST read with a box of tissues. Skip the movie! Remember the popcorn & M&M's, my favorite movie/book snacks!

an Etsy Fourth

It seems the Fourth of July is not my favorite holiday. I guess no holiday is any fun when your love is working 13 hours.. At least I have thoughts of a sugarplum wedding dancing through my head. Here are some cute things i found on Etsy.
