me. today. having VERY strange dreams.....
i dreamt that brandi, damon & i went to vegas. i won $800 playing the slot machines, ALL in pennies. While gathering my pennies i noticed a gang of not so nice boys noticing me & my pennies. We got back to our hotel & the not so nice boys were at the door. brandi let them in. i screamed at her why ?? the not so nice boys were there to steal my $800 pennies. i yelled to damon, who was curled on the bed, get your ass up & get your gun.. i jumped on the back of one of the not so nice guys & attempted to strangle him with a telephone wire. Brandi ran over & tried to suffocate him with a bright yellow shirt.

it was a very vivid dream. brandi analyzed & discovered hidden meanings. First i am worried about the health of a friend (very true). secondly, the stresses of everyday life are getting tome.

Too bad, i thought it meant i was going to win a lot of $$$$$$....

tribute

Thrifty Dog "TD" Miller 1995-2009

Our t-bird passed away peacefully in his sleep, Sunday evening. Love for his family , a slight foot fetish, stealing christmas lights & spinning in crazy circles were TD's trademarks. Our puppy brought joy to everyone who knew him.... TD is now reunited with his big brother, Prince, where they can chase squirrels & dig up the neighbor's flowers until their hearts content. We love you & will miss you so much!!

WE HAVE TICKS!!! Finally, some blue skies & sunny days to warm my weary soul!!!!!! Yesterday, after work we took the dogs out to nice park off of 36. We walked trails & sat overlooking the water. Aren't my puppies cute!!!!!

Getting ready to leave, we realized we were COVERED in ticks!! Damon had 3 giant ones on him. Taco & Shag each had one. This morning i woke up to find one on crawling around in the blankets. 30 seconds ago d pulled one off my scalp. it's like the never ending TICK invasion. i am still crying..... i never want to go outside again..BLECHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Scrumptious breakfast (Check out the Simply Healthful site. i love it!!!!!) Sliced Strawberries, Blackberries & Raspberries, Ground Flax Seed,Honey, Vanilla Yogurt. Mix everything together & enjoy..I was a little skeptical of the honey on the berries but it was YUMMY!!

ups & downs

This was kind of a weird weekend. I want to say it was great, but there were two things that kind of sucked. ALOT. My dad was admitted to the hospital on Friday nite for a pretty serious infection. After some iv antibiotics he is doing much better, although still not released. Second crappo thing. We lost one of our biggest clients. After working with the family for three years to see them leave us sucks. Seriously....

So my dad is MUCH better, reading a book called Bliss. Our company is NOT built on only one client, but over 100. New opportunities will arise everyday. I will learn from my missteps & be ready to do better tomorrow.Why this weekend actually didn't suck?? On Friday d & i snuggled, watching Eagle Eye & & planning our Caribbean cruise for May..YIIIPPPPPEEE!!! Saturday we started getting ready for Kristen's baby shower. We cleaned, shopped & started crafting. Everything turned out so beautiful. Brandi made the CUTEST diaper cake EVER!!! Look at the little baby shoes! Love it. I made a banner using my Cricut 7 a tissue paper wreath (i found the idea here). We had good food, & so much laughing. After Kristen opened her gifts we went to see baby Nathan's nursery.

So YEAH some things are sucky, but mostly there is sunshine, laughter & lots of love around here.....
